Jack “Bossman JNR” Drayton Gets Onboard!
Onboard Sportswear is proud to announce the signing of an exciting young prospect, Jack Drayton, known on the oche as Bossman JNR.
Born on 17 August 2006 and hailing from Thornton Cleveleys, Jack has made remarkable progress in a short space of time. Having only picked up darts two years ago, his rapid rise through the ranks is a testament to his natural ability, work ethic, and competitive mindset.
Practising most days for three to four hours, Jack’s commitment is clear as he balances darts alongside work, competitions and university life.
Despite not being part of a darts academy, Jack has already built an impressive list of achievements. In 2025 alone, he reached the quarter-finals of the Isle of Man Open, was selected to represent Lancashire darts, made his first Development Tour semi-final on just his second weekend, and qualified through the Vault system for the MODUS Super Series. These performances underline both his consistency and his ability to rise to big occasions. Moving onto this year, Jack is already a back to back PDC Development Tour Winner, he won the Modus Super Series 13 in champions week on his debut and is the current Isle of Man Open Champion.
Looking ahead, Jack’s ambitions are firmly focused on the professional pathway. His goals for 2026 include finishing inside the top 10 of the PDC Development Tour, securing wins along the way, qualifying for the ADC Winmau Championship Finals, reaching Finals Night on his MODUS debut, and competing consistently on the Challenge Tour.
Describing himself as determined, conscientious, and impulsive, Jack is known by others for his positive attitude, happy nature, and likeable personality. He cites Josh Rock as his favourite player, admiring his work ethic, unpredictability, and entertaining style of play.
